A man in his 50s has died following a three-car collision in Bourne.

It happened on the A6121 at the top of Stamford Hill just outside of Toft village at 7.20pm last Friday (21 July).

The three vehicles involved were a black Nissan Qashqai, a white BMW X1 and a grey Ford Focus.

Lincolnshire Police said the man's family has been informed, and that they are being supported by specially trained officers.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released on police bail whilst investigations continue.

Police have continued their appeals for information on the collision, including dashcam footage that may have captured any of the vehicles involved travelling along the A6121 around the time of the incident.

They also remain keen to view footage which that have captured the collision itself, or to hear from anyone who might have other information which might help the investigation.

Lincolnshire Police are asking people with information to call 101, or email SCIUinvestigators@lincs.police.uk, quoting incident 458 of 21 July.
