Man dies after multi-vehicle crash in Cleethorpes

The rider of a motorbike has been arrested

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a crash involving three vehicles on Grimsby Road in Cleethorpes yesterday evening.

The collision happened at around 5pm and involved a Yamaha DT motorcycle, a grey Land Rover Discovery and a red Ford KA.

The 53-year-old man riding the motorbike suffered fatal injuries and later died in hospital.

A man riding a second motorbike, a Yamaha YBR, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst over the prescribed limit. He remains in police custody.
