Man arrested on suspicion of murder following incident in Skegness

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following an incident in Skegness.

Police were called out last night at 6.52pm (19th August).

Officers received reports of an altercation at a property on Grosvenor Road.

When they arrived they found 57-year-old Mr Rhys Howell with serious injuries. He was treated by paramedics but died a short time later.

His family have been informed and have asked for their privacy to be respected.

A 60-year-old man remains in police custody and detectives say he will be questioned in due course.
