Man arrested on suspicion of arson after incident in Skegness
Explosive experts were called out yesterday after a device was discovered
A 58 year old man's been arrested on suspicion of attempted arson with intent to endanger life after an incident in Skegness.
Yesterday morning (June 14th) emergency services and explosive experts were called to Scarborough Avenue after a device was discovered.
A cordon was put in place and people were evacuated from their properties for a time before being allowed back.
The man remains in custody.
Yesterday afternoon Police confirmed the device found had been assessed and there was no danger to the public.
