Man arrested following suspected stabbing in Sturton-by-Stow

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a suspected stabbing in Sturton-by-Stow.

Armed officers were called to a property on Queensway at 5.36pm on Saturday 20th December, after reports of a man with a suspected stab wound.

On arrival, police found a man in his 30s with the injury. He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-altering.

A knife was recovered at the property, and the arrested man remains in police custody as officers investigate the incident.

Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the full picture, with officers still present at two properties on Queensway and patrols continuing in the area.

Appeal for witnesses

Lincolnshire Police are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity on Queensway on Saturday afternoon or has information about the incident to come forward.
