Man arrested following reported stabbing in Grimsby

A man's been arrested in connection with reports of a stabbing in Grimsby.
It's after a man suffered serious injuries.
Officers were called to a house on Macauley Street just after 5 o clock yesterday afternoon.
They found a man with injuries described as significant but aren't now thought to be life threatening, he was taken to hospital.
There were also a group of other men at the property.
Late last night a 43 year old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon.
He remains in custody.
There's a high police presence in the area to provide reassurance.
Detective Inspector Tom Kelly said: “Understandably an incident of this nature will cause concern to the local community, however I want to offer my reassurance that we have already made a number of enquiries to establish the circumstances and ascertain exactly what happened.
“I’d like to thank the local community for their help with our enquiries and also their patience whilst a scene guard remains in place on Macaulay Street.
“There will continue to be a high policing presence in the area throughout the day and I would encourage anyone with information, or anyone with concerns, to please come and speak to us.
