Man and woman arrested on suspicion of firearms offence following Boston incident

They've also been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill

Police have arrested a man and woman on suspicion of a firearms offence and threats to kill following an incident in Boston.

It's after reports a woman with a firearm attended a property in the town’s South Terrace around half past 2 yesterday afternoon.

Armed officers were then sent to a house on Burton Road Heckington as part of the investigation. in the evening

There they arrested a 63 year old woman and a 57 year old man.

In both cases they were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and making threats to kill.

They remain in police custody.

The police statement said:

We are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident in the South Terrace area of Boston at around 1pm yesterday (10 June) to contact us.
