Murder trial starts after death of a mum and her young son in Louth

The trial starts today of a man charged with the murder of a mum and her young son in Louth.

29-year-old Daniel Boulton of Alexandra Road in Skegness is alleged to have killed his ex-partner, 26-year-old Bethany Vincent and her nine-year-old son Darren Henson at a property in Louth, Lincolnshire on May 31st last year.

Boulton has been charged with two counts of murder, and he has also been charged with assault with intent to resist arrest and burglary.

He denies all the charges.

The trial is due to start this morning (January 13th) at Lincoln Crown Court.

Ms Vincent, 26, and her son suffered fatal stab wounds in High Holme Road, Louth, Lincolnshire on May 31st 2021 at about 8.30pm.
