People from European countries, living across Lincolnshire and Newark are being urged to get the Coronavirus jab.

A week of action's taking place looking to increase coverage and raise awareness of the importance of the vaccine.

Figures suggest smaller numbers of people from those communities have come forward to get the jab.

Andy Fox is Lincolnshire's Assistant director of public health.

He says it may have been harder for those communities to access the vaccine because of issues around language or myths surrounding the jab.

He stressed the vaccine is safe and reliable and hopes everyone who's currently eligible will get injected as soon as possible.
