Lincolnshire teachers praised for hard work during pandemic

As students across the country receive their A-level, BTEC and GCSE results this week, we're looking into the extra work teachers across Lincolnshire have taken on due to the pandemic.

Chris Thompson from Lincolnshire's National Education Union told us they worked incredibly hard this year.
"Teachers are very worried that they might get something wrong so they've been very, very, very careful to make sure that the grading system is fine and good.
"A lot are worried that there will be a lot of appeals.
"I don't think teachers want to be used as scapegoats if the results don't go so well, so schools and teachers are being very, very careful."
He wants more clarity for next year.
"There needs to some sort of statement, some sort of working out as to what is going to happen next year.
"Hopefully that will happen soon."
