Its been a very hot day with people enjoying being back at the Lincolnshire Show.

It is the first time since 2019 that the show has been on, after being cancelled the previous years because of coronavirus.

Freestyle motocross, Atkinson action horses, lots of Lincoln Red Cattle and the RAF Falcons Display are just some of what's been on offer, as well as stalls and entertainment.

Lincolnshire's Agricultural chaplain Alan Robson says the show's going really well:

"It's a fantastic day isn't it. Having the opportunity to meet so many people again after all this time.

"It's an opportunity for us to tell our story out there in the wider community.

"Just to be seen about - offering the help and support and advice and direction for the farming community".

Sergeant Ross Gill is from the RAF Falcons parachute display team - they're performing at the show on both days:

"The weather's lovely - so we'll be able to treat the crowd to a good show today so it'll be a good event, I'm looking forward to it.

"Mixing with the crowd and meeting people and chatting away it's really good - I'm loving it!

"We'll be doing the same display tomorrow I think into the main arena - it should be around 1pm".

Amy Gilbert is county commissioner for Lincolnshire scouts and is promoting the organisation at the show:

"It's great - after the pandemic it's nice to be out and about. I think lots of young people missed out on a lot.

"So I think scouts and what scouting can offer to people is really brilliant.

"We're also seeing if any adults want to join in scouting as well. Because it's fun just for us not just for young people.

"The more adults we have the more we can offer to our young people across the county"

Day 2 of the show will continue tomorrow.
