Lincolnshire police launch women's safety project
Street Safe will allow people to report areas of concern

Lincolnshire police have launched a new initiative to help tackle violence against women and girls.
The Street Safe campaign is a national project which lets the public anonymously report online the public places where they have felt unsafe and the reason for it for.
Examples would include such as no street lighting, abandoned buildings, vandalism or being followed or verbally abused.
Detective Superintendent Suzanne Davies is the lead for Violence Against Women and Girls at Lincolnshire Police.
She says "We want to improve our knowledge and understanding of what makes them feel unsafe in our county."
"The data will be mapped alongside incident and crime data and my intention is to work with business owners and partners to design out problems in the first place.
"The big focus is to focus on prevention and reassurance."
"If you've got perhaps teenagers walking from school or out with their friends in the evening, I want to hear from them to tell us about places they feel unsafe."
"Perhaps when you've got home and thought actually I really didn't feel very safe about that - at that point I'd really encourage people to sit down for a couple of minutes, go online."
"It can be accessed on the Lincolnshire police page or through police.uk".
"Please take the time to tell us how you're feeling."
