Lincolnshire police are trying a new tactic in the fight against hare coursing
after seeing a rise in the number of reported incidents
Lincolnshire Police have seen a rise in the number of hare coursing incidents in the county.
During the past three months Officers have received more than 1,000 reports of hare coursing incidents, compared to 1,048 for the full season last year.
Officers have now put in place a 24 hour dispersal order meaning anyone suspected of hare coursing will be told to leave the county immediately.
They face arrest if they return.
Meanwhile Police say it's important people don’t confront people hare coursing or put themselves at risk.
