Lincolnshire's covid alert level will stay at tier 1, despite a rise in cases

Lincolnshire health bosses say there is no reason to change the covid alert level right now.

It comes after a meeting this morning, where leaders discussed the possibility of Lincoln moving into tier 2.

The council says although rates in the city have gone up, it isn't anticipating moving into any other tiers.

It says it will remain vigilant going forward
