Lincolnshire businesses share sustainability schemes
It comes as talks continue in Glasgow at COP26
Some of Lincolnshire's biggest employers have been sharing the way they're looking to combat climate change on our doorstep.
At the showground yesterday, they came together to discuss what they're doing to be as sustainable as possible.
Leo Cardosa from Moy Park, which has facilities in Sleaford and Grantham, said they've reduced their carbon footprint by over 77% since 2010.
"We're always trying to think of clever ways to recycle the use of water and recycle the use of our energy.
"We have, for example, a department responsible for measuring the health of a little stream that runs around us so we can recycle our water correctly.
"Our equipment works the best possible way so it's not going to leak energy and it's going to only use what it needs to use."
He's urging big businesses to work together.
"That is one of the reasons why we are able to reduce the use of plastic, reduce the use of water, reduce the use of energy, is because our partners are also conscientious and want us to act that way."
