A forensic psychologist has described the killer of University of Lincoln graduate Grace Milane as a "pathetic," "inadequate" "pathological liar".

Jesse Kempson was jailed for a minimum of 17 years for murdering the 22 year old in 2018.

3 years on since her graduation from the University of Lincoln experts are studying the manipulative ways Kempson tried to cover his tracks.

"I looked at the evidence in it’s entirety and really he was shifty from the start"

Kerry Daynes has been involved in a new documentary exploring the case.

"Kempson was a pathological liar really and he was clearly somebody who was very inadequate and he told lots of stories about himself and they were all designed to make him sound richer, more successful, more of a ladies man.

"Our linguistic expert managed to count over 21 times where he tried to shift blame onto Grace.

"It was quite pathetic really to watch a lot of it.

"It’s very sad from his perspective as much as from Grace’s perspective that a man would want to try and lie his way out of such a hideous situation in such a despicable way."
