Lincoln body discovery 'not suspicious' according to detectives

Police say a file is being prepared for the coroner following the find yesterday (Saturday 13th January).

Police investigating the discovery of a body in Lincoln say they are not treating the death as suspicious.

Officers went to Nettleham Road at 11.49am after the body was spotted lying in undergrowth.

Inquiries have since been carried out with detectives finding no signs of foul play. A file is subsequently being prepared for the coroner with the death being treated as 'unexpected' at this time.
