The Bishop of Lincoln, The Rt Revd Stephen Conway, has been suspended from ministry following a complaint made to the National Safeguarding Team.

This complaint is being addressed in accordance with the House of Bishops Code of Practice, which involves referral to relevant statutory authorities.

In his absence, The Rt Revd Dr Nicholas Chamberlain, the Bishop of Grantham, will assume the responsibilities of the Diocesan Bishop.
