Care services say the right measures HAVE been put in place to ensure the kind of abuse and neglect of vulnerable adults seen at a Lincoln rehabilitation centre shouldn't ever happen again.

A review concluded NHS providers didn't have the right systems in place to identify mistreatment quickly.

Long Leys court, which treated adults with learning disabilities, was eventually closed.

Heather Roach chairs the Lincolnshire safeguarding adults board and is promising lessons will be learned.
