Junior doctor strikes causes more disruption than ambulance walkouts across Lincolnshire hospitals
They're walking out over 3 days

Hundreds of non urgent appointments and operations have been cancelled across Lincolnshire hospitals because of the junior doctors strikes.
They're said to be having more of an impact than the ambulance staff walkouts did.
Today's the second day of three days of industrial action.
We spoke to the Chief Executive of the Trust that runs hospitals in the county.
I think this is of a different scale
Andrew Morgan told us: "There has been a variety of industrial action over recent months."
"The nurses in Lincolnshire did not meet the threshold for a strike so we didn't have to deal with that."
"We had to deal with the ambulance strike but I think this is of a different scale."
"The thing you face with strikes is you don't know who's going to come to work and who isn't."
"They don't have to give you prior notice."
"We think around 20 to 25 per cent are working as normal."
If we get junior doctors coming in that's a bonus
"Every day on every shift we're not sure who will come in, that's why you have to plan for the worst and hope for the best."
"If we do get junior doctors coming in that's a bit of a bonus because we've planned on the basis they won't be in."
"There may be further cancellations if we find that more people are out on strike than we hoped, it is viewed on an hourly basis."
"We have got our incident control rooms set up - we are monitoring hour by hour what is happening."
