Police have released an e-fit image of a man who they believe may have vital information in connection with an investigation into reports of sexual assault in North Lincolnshire.

Officers also received a report of indecent exposure in Barton in July - they say they are treating the incidents as a priority

Officer in the case, Detective Constable Darren Newman said:

“Whilst we have not received any further reports believe to be linked to these incidents, I want to reassure residents we continue to treat this as a priority and we will not tolerate any form of harm towards women and girls.

“We received a report that a man indecently exposed himself on Thursday 13 July and two reports of a man sexually assaulting women on Sunday 25 June and Saturday 15 July on Beck Hill and Pasture Road in Barton.

“We began to conduct lines of enquiry and are led to believe, following the incidents, that the man left the area on a distinctive bike which has been described as a dark coloured mountain style bike with a red and orange base colour. The bike also had tiger print on the front forks.

“I’d like to appeal to anyone who recognises the man shown in the e-fit or has any vital information or saw anything suspicious around this time, no matter how small, to please come forward."
