Investigation launched after body recovered from River Humber

Police have launched an investigation after a body was pulled from the River Humber yesterday (May 7).

Humberside Police were called by HM Coastguard following the find.

Work to identify the deceased will be carried out in the coming days.

The death is being treated as unexplained.
