An inquest into the death of a 15-year-old schoolboy from Gainsborough has concluded that he died from drowning after entering the River Trent.

Oliwier Kaczmarowski was reported as missing on May 22nd this year.

During the inquest Oliwier's mum cried out 'he should've come back' as the Coroner delivered her conclusion of what happened to him.

A massive search was launched with drones and underwater search teams when Oliwier failed to return home.

The community also held search parties day and night until four days later, when his body was recovered from the river.

Today it was stated that he was intoxicated that evening - slightly under twice the drink drive limit.

Summing up the evidence, the coroner made a narrative conclusion that Oliver died on 26th of May from drowning - having entered the river Trent on 22nd of May.
