Humberside Police urge young people across Northern Lincolnshire to join independent advisory group

Young people in Northern Lincolnshire are being urged to join an independent advisory group.
Humberside Police is wanting to improve the service it provides to those aged 16 to 24.
It's looking to make a real impact and is asking young people to advise with what officers can do and how they can do it.
Community cohesion officer PC Carl Osler said it's vitally important.
"We see this as a real opportunity for young adults to engage and contribute to the work carried out by Humberside Police.
"We really want young people to tell us what we do, how we do things, which impact on them and the wider public and how we can improve that service towards them.
"Concerns of a young person may well be totally different to the concerns that an adult will have.
"County lines exploitation, anti-social behaviour, knife crime, stop and search powers, hate crime, online grooming.
"However, it may well be that when we actually engage with young people they bring up some topics that we ourselves are not aware of."
