Exclusive figures show, from 2016 until 2020, cases of fraud, possession of an offensive weapon and perverting the course of justice also took place

We can exclusively reveal that over the past 5 years, officers at Humberside Police were convicted of 9 crimes, including assault and sexual offences.
From 2016 until 2020; cases of fraud, possession of an offensive weapon and perverting the course of justice also took place

Humberside Police says all were dismissed and no longer work for the force.
Head of Professional Standards, Detective Superintendent Matt Baldwin said he expects a high standard of professionalism from officers and staff.
“We will not tolerate any conduct, whether that be on duty or in an officer or staff member’s personal life, that fails to uphold the high standards we expect or poses a threat to our communities.
“We carry out full and thorough investigations into any allegation made against an officer or staff member and where there is evidence of offences being committed arrests and court proceedings will follow.”
