Fatal house fire near Louth not being treated as suspicious

2 people died last week in a house fire in Utterby

Police say they're not treating a house fire near Louth in which 2 pensioners died as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to a property on Main Road Utterby around 11pm on Thursday evening (23rd June).

Despite their best efforts they were unable to save the lives of the 92 year old man and 83 year old woman inside.

Police and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue are carrying out a joint investigation.

The matter has now been passed to the coroner.
