Grantham singer Holly Humberstone wows at the Brits
She picked up the rising star award and performed
It was a dream come true for Grantham singer Holly Humberstone who was at the Brits last night.
Not only did she perform but also picked up the award for rising star.
it was a triumph for the musician who's now one of the UK's most exciting acts with hopes of a very bright future for her.
We spoke to her at the event.
She said "I used to watch (the Brits) as a little girl".
"I grew up in rural Lincolnshire, there was no way in my mind I'd be able to attend the Brits and pursue singing as a career even though I loved it".
"Just crazy to be here and in the room with all of the stars - I'm so lucky."
"To be here after such a weird few years, for all of us, it's just really lovely".
"I feel like I want to make more music and put more out".
"I feel really lucky".
She will hoping to achieve just a fraction of the success of last nights big winner: Adele.
It seems like only yesterday that she performed an "Up Close and Personal" gig at the Louth Riverhead theatre back in 2011.
Adele picked up best song for "East on Me" plus best album for "30" and best artist.
Others winners apart from Adele and Holly included Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and Sam Fender.
