There's evidence some people who've previously not had a Covid vaccine at all in Lincolnshire have finally come forward for their first dose.

There are a series of pop up sites across the county at the moment and in the coming days.

Most are giving out boosters but some people are now getting their first dose.

Rebeccca Neno Director of the vaccination programme in Lincolnshire says a project has looked to address vaccine hesitancy:

"What we do is we work very closely with the district councils who obviously know their population very well. We work with various community leaders within those areas and it is a lot of door knocking, leaflet dropping and talking to people"

"Omicron is milder for individuals that have got antibodies to previous covid infections or vaccinations. Those people that have had neither, or that have had covid over three months ago won't have any protection"

"We were out at Wrangle last week and there was a gentleman there who came to see us for his first vaccination and he just hadn't been able to get anywhere - and we hadn't gone to that locality, that is what these pop ups are about"
