Grimsby Town will hold a minutes applause before this afternoons home match against Notts County - in memory of Dave Walsh and his teenage son who died in a crash in Tetney

16-year-old Cameron was a youth team member with the Mariners.

Before that both Cameron and Dave had been involved with Cleethorpes Town.

Chief Executive of Grimsby Town Debbie Cook says everyone will miss Cameron and Dave's presence at the club:

"We're hoping that all of our supporters will join in with the minutes applause and make that a fitting tribute to them both.

"They were both very much part of the Grimsby football family.

"Cameron will feature on the front cover of our programme for Saturday's game and obviously we'll pay additional tribute within that to Cam.

"Anything we have planned we have talked to the family to make sure it's in accordance with their wishes".

In a statement on the Mariners website Grimsby Town said:

"Should anyone wish to lay floral tributes for Cameron and Dave, they are welcome to visit our Mariners’ Memorial Garden outside Blundell Park, adjacent to the Family Fan Zone entrance.

"The Club would like to extend its thanks to our local community, and the wider football-family for their heartfelt messages and support for Cameron and Dave’s family and everyone affected by this tragedy".
