Incredible comeback sees Grimsby Town through to play off semi final
The Mariners won 2-1 at Notts County - after extra time
Grimsby Town have made it into the National league play off semi finals after one of the most dramatic comebacks in recent memory.
The Mariners were one nil down deep into injury time at Notts County when they equalised through Gavan Holohan in the 96th minute.
Then when it looked like the game was heading for penalties Emmanuel Dieseruvwe scored a late winner to make it 2-1 and send the travelling supporters delirious with virtually the last kick of extra time.
That keeps their hopes of promotion alive.
Grimsby now go to Wrexham on Saturday for the semi final.
They're now 2 wins away from promotion.
6th placed Grimsby were facing Notts County.
Their opponents on Saturday Wrexham came second in the table just missing out on automatic promotion.
