A police investigation is underway, after an assault reported in Grimsby yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 26th November).

Emergency services were sent to Sixhills Street around 3.50pm.

A 33-year-old man suffered slash wounds to his leg and injuries to his hand, while a man aged 30 also sustained injuries. Both were taken to hospital.

Three men are believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle before police arrived.

"I would encourage anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquiries, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 346 of 26 November.”
