Grimsby driving instructor backs calls for licence changes
The AA feels measures could help reduce accidents
Many road safety campaigners are backing the AA's calls for a new style of driving licence for anyone who's just passed their test - including a driving instructor from Grimsby .
It's thought measures like a ban on carrying passengers for six months after they pass could reduce collisions.
Latest research found that one in five young drivers crash within the first year of passing their test.
I'm also quite mindful that many people won't want these restrictions."
Kevin Dyas from Wheelsby Driving School in Grimsby agrees with the proposals - but thinks not everyone will be on board with the idea.
"In many ways we do need to look at what we do to try and bring down these statistics."
