A 30 year old man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman - after a car left the road in Grantham and collided with 3 people

Officers were called Barrowby Road around half past six Thursday evening

A 40 year old woman died from her injuries - while two others had been injured.

Ashley Towning of Winchester road is charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failure to stop and drink-driving.

Investigators are appealing for information to try and piece together what happened and are asking anyone who can help to get in touch.

If you have dash cam footage of the vehicle - a black Nissan car - before or after the collision, please reach out and contact us.

Nearby homeowners who possess CCTV or have parked vehicles which may have valuable dash cam video are urged to retain the footage and contact the force.
