Dozens of flood warnings remain in place across Lincolnshire and Newark after yesterday's heavy rain and snow
A major incident was declared in Lincolnshire due to the high number of issues including stranded vehicles and flooding to raods and a small number of properties.
Pupils had to be recused from a school at Edenham near Bourne as flood waters rose.
Other areas badly impacted include the Grantham area.
This morning there are still a number of road closures in the region whilst emergency services are closely monitoring river levels and getting ready to respond.
The village of Billingborough has seen a number of properties flooded and a special rest centre was set up.
By the end of the night all there had found alternative accommodation.
People there told us there has been some significant flooding there.
Police are warning there may be some icy and dangerous conditions on some roads in addition to the closures on some of them.
