Fire crews called out to reports of plane crash near Skegness

Two people have been taken to hospital

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service say crews from Skegness were called out to reports of a plane crash in Ingoldmells.

They were called out around 1pm today (19th June) to Walls Lane.

Two people have been taken to hospital.

The crews were on the scene along with ambulance crews.

East Midlands Ambulance Service have said:

“We received a call at 12.53pm on 19 June to Walls Lane in Ingoldmells.

"The caller reported a medical emergency.

"We sent a LIVES emergency first responder, a paramedic in a solo response car and two crewed ambulances.

"The air ambulance was also in attendance.

"Two patients were taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, one via air ambulance and the other via crewed ambulance.”
