Don't skip your covid test - just because you want to go on holiday
that's the message from Lincolnshire's Public Health bosses
It's feared people across Lincolnshire aren't doing covid tests because they're worried it'll come back positive and they'll have to cancel their holiday.
Health bosses say it's vital you check, and do tests even if you've had both jabs.
Andy Fox is Lincolnshire's Assistant Director of Public Health:
"There's the fear of course that people might not be so willing to go and get themselves a test if they're afraid that they don't want to self isolate. But it's still the most important way after getting the vaccine to protect ourselves and each other"
He continues:
"It is absolutely vital, infact it's in the law to self isolate if you have a persistent cough, a fever, or a change in the sense of taste and smell and that you must self isolate you and your household. And that you must get a PCR test not one of the lateral flow tests"
