Domestic abuse charity launched in memory of woman and son murdered in Louth
Daniel Boulton stabbed Bethany Vincent and 9-year-old DJ last year
It's hoped a charity, set up in memory of a woman and her young son who were murdered in Louth, will stop others falling victim to domestic abuse.
Last May, Daniel Boulton, of Alexandra road, Skegness, stabbed Bethany Vincent and her 9-year-old son DJ.
Yesterday the 30-year-old was sentenced to life, with a minimum of 40 years behind bars.
Sarah Parkin, from Be Their Voice, wants to teach young people what healthy, normal, good relationships look like.
"We've talked to the local schools, we've engaged with as many groups as we can, and the message to us is very, very clear, that young people need more conversations and they need them earlier before they're in those relationships.
"Then they are much more likely to avoid the coercive, the toxic, the negative relationships, which so quickly can spiral into something much more sinister and dangerous."
