Investigation concludes death of woman in caravan near Louth is not suspicious

A woman's died in a caravan fire near Louth.

Police did initially treat the 61 year olds death as "unexplained" but following further investigations have concluded there are no suspicious circumstances.

Emergency services were called to Poplar farm North Somercotes around 6 o clock on Saturday evening.

A man in his 60s who was also in the caravan was taken to hospital, a man who tried to help suffered a leg injury.

Police were called by fire crews to the farm on Donna Nook road.

Yesterday they said they would have a presence on the scene well into today.
