A consultation takes place today in Winthorpe
An event today will give people the chance to have their say on a multi million pound scheme to turn Newark bypass into a dual carriageway.
The proposals for that section of the A46 include a fly over at the Cattle market junction
The first consultation is this morning at the Lord Nelson pub in Winthorpe.
Other changes include a new bridge over the A1 to the north of the existing bridge.

Michael Hillier is from Highways England.
He says "We're proposing to improve the A46 at Newark to remove the bottleneck there, increase capacity and address congestion which is being experienced".
"By increasing that capacity journeys will be quicker, more reliable and safer."
"This will help people in Newark going about their daily business."
"It's also a very important route in the wider region and across the East Midlands for trade and goods and services."
"It will complete a long section of dual carriageway all the way from Leicester to Lincoln".
