Campaigners in Bourne say it's vital the issue of women's safety doesn't fade from the spotlight.

Lockdown rules have made it difficult to hold gatherings.

However the group from Bourne are planning to hold events later in the year where they can raise the issue.

They wanted to show solidarity with women following the death of Sarah Everard.

Grace Reeves was one of the organisers.

Now she wants to work with the likes of Bourne Grammar School and Bourne Academy on education and showing support for women and girls who've experienced any kind of abuse.

She told us "everyone deserves to live without the fear of being hurt, being able to go walking with your headphones in and live your life."

She says it's everyone's problem which touches our friends and family and she's determined to continue to highlight the issue.
