Busy April for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

They launched over 100 times

It was a busy April for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

They were called to 148 emergencies last month.

They included, 41 cardiac arrests, 33 crashes, 20 medical emergencies, 18 falls from height, 16 assaults, 14 sports and leisure incidents, three industrial incidents and three other emergencies.

The service is a charity and relies solely on donations from the public to enable the helicopter to stay in the air to provide support to some of the most serious and time critical 999 calls across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
