Boris Johnson is expected to announce this afternoon whether the final stage of the easing of restrictions can take place.

However it's thought he will extend the deadline by another 4 weeks.

This is due to rising case numbers of the delta variant which was originally discovered in India.

However there has been a suggestion the limit of 30 people at weddings may be eased before mid July.

Meanwhile businesses we spoke to affected by the announcement across Lincolnshire and Newark.

The wedding's announcement is being eagerly awaited by Horncastle bridal shop "Take A Vow" in May.

She got off to a good start but the current restrictions limiting guest numbers to 30 mean many people are waiting.

There have been some suggestions that limit may be extended despite other restrictions not changing.

We also spoke to the Embassy centre in Skegness.

They're currently running at around ten per cent capacity because of the current restrictions and the need for staff.

They'd already planned for a 4 week delay.

However they say it's vital they're able to take in more people during the vital summer period and hoping the dates don't move again.
