Brave Lincoln City beaten by West Ham
The Imps lost one nil despite a battling performance in the league cup

It wasn't the result Lincoln City fans wanted but their side went toe to toe with Premier League West Ham and gave a fantastic account of themselves.
They were beaten 1-0 after a 70th minute strike by the Hammers.
It was a bitter blow for the Imps who'd competed well and even had a goal disallowed.
It was a brilliant match - absolutely awesome
Afterwards Imps fans weren't too downhearted.
One told us: "It was the best game I've seen for a long long time - a terrific match."

Head coach Mark Kennedy said: "We know going into every game we may not hit the targets we set but we know we have a group of players that give their all for the club."
"I think we're really tough to break down and hard to beat."
"I think it was Saturday or Sunday I watched Newcastle beat Sheffield United 8-0 - these kind of teams can do that - so I was quite relieved."
He added he was really proud of his team.
