A Bracebridge man remains in a critical condition in hospital after assault

3 people have now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

Lincolnshire Police have arrested three people on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Bracebridge.

Officers were called to a property on Ellison Street, off Newark Road, following a call at 3.47pm on Friday (9 August) reporting an assault.

Armed officers attended and found a man with life-threatening injuries, consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Two women, aged 27 and 37, were arrested at the scene. A male suspect, aged 34, remained in a property on Ellison Street. Specially-trained officers engaged with the suspect over several hours, and arrested him in the property at around 4.15am this morning.

The road remains closed while our teams continue their investigation.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage, or anyone with information that may help the investigation to contact them.
