Police in Scunthorpe are investigating a 'fail-to stop' collision which left a 15 year old boy with minor injuries.

The child was riding his bike on Cemetery Road on Friday when the collision occurred, with the driver of a 'silver-coloured' car leaving the scene without stopping.

In a statement, Humberside Police said: "Investigations are underway following reports of a collision on Cemetery Road in Scunthorpe on Friday 20 September.

"The incident happened at around 10.15am with reports that a silver coloured car had collided with a 15-year-old boy riding a bike. The boy suffered what are thought to be minor injuries as a result of the collision.
