Boston United's promotion party details
The Pilgrims are celebrating their play off final win
And it's Boston United's big celebration tonight.
Large crowds are expected at the Jakeman's stadium to mark their promotion to the national league.
A victory parade will be taking place with proceedings getting underway at 7.
The Pilgrims may have finished 6th in the national league north table but when it really mattered they delivered.
The play offs saw them beat Alfreton Town on penalties after it finished nil nil after extra time.
And it was a case of deja vu at Scunthorpe United after a goalless saw Boston once again win on spotkicks.
The final at Brackley Town saw the Pilgrims go one down.
It'll be a celebration for the whole community
However they bounced back to secure a 2-1 victory and promotion prompting joyous scenes from their supporters.
It means they'll be in the national league next season - just one division down from the football league.
And tonight the Pilgrims will be putting on a celebration for the whole community.
It'll be held at the Jakemans stadium.
They'll be a victory parade featuring the players - including those from the junior teams.
There'll be a chance to see the play off trophy too.
The club says the event will get underway at 7pm with turnstiles for the Acorn Taxis (West) Stand open at 6.
There will be car parking available but the club says it'll be on a first come first served basis.
So here's to Boston United on their hugely successful promotion season and enjoy your special night this evening.
And of course we'll be there with a report on how it all went tomorrow.
