Absconded prisoner found after police search

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed a wanted man, who failed to return to prison last Thursday (10 July), has been found.

The force say he was spotted by a member of the public and was arrested in North Yorkshire.

Trennan, 60, is a convicted rapist who was on day release from North Sea Camp.

In a statement, police said: "We would like to extend our thanks to the many members of the public who have called us with information and possible sightings, and who shared our appeal.

"This intelligence has been invaluable to our teams who have been searching to find Trennan."
