A 67 year old woman has died following a two vehicle collision near Skegness.

Police received reports of an incident involving a car and a van on Marsh Lane in Orby around 12.42pm today (19th May).

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene - while two of it's passengers were taken to hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

Meanwhile the driver and passenger of the van were also taken to hospital - it's not thought their injuries are serious.

Lincolnshire Police said:

"The female driver of the Focus was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers.

"We are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have captured dashcam footage of the collision to get in touch in one of the following ways below.

"By calling 101 quoting incident 191 of 19th May.

"By emailing force.control@lincs.police.uk quoting incident 191 of 19th May in the subject line.
