4 men jailed for a total of 97 years for the murder of a Lincoln man

Four men who were found guilty of the murder of a Lincoln man have been jailed for a total of 97 years.

They were sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court earlier today (12th April) after a trial that lasted 13 weeks.

Sam Davies was found with suspected knife wounds at a property in Coleridge Gardens in Lincoln back in May.

He was taken to hospital but later died.

Sentencing is as follows:

Joe Jameson, 24, of Whitehall Terrace, Lincoln was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Daniel Heydari, 25, of Chestnut Street, Lincoln was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Eimantis Gochman, 20, of Sturton Close, Lincoln was sentenced to 24 years in prison.

Billy Gill, 21, of Hatcliffe Gardens, Lincoln was sentenced to 23 years in prison.

Detective Superintendent Richard Myszczyszyn, who led the investigation for the East Midlands Specialist Operations Unit (EMSOU), said:

“Our thoughts remain with Sam’s family and loved ones at this time.

We know that nothing can bring Sam back, but we hope this sentence brings some form of peace and comfort to Sam’s friends and family.”
