13 year old boy arrested on suspicion of arson after a blaze at a Skegness caravan park
Emergency services were called to Southview Holiday Park in Burgh Road on Friday night
A 13 year old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson after 5 caravans suffered fire damage in Skegness.
On Friday evening (27th May) about 8pm emergency services were called out to the blaze at Southview Holiday Park in Burgh Road.
No on was hurt in the incident and it is believe the caravans in question were unused.
The boy has been released on a bail.
Lincolnshire Police have said:
"Fire investigators have confirmed this as arson, and officers from our Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and forensic staff are carrying out several lines of enquiry.
"As a result of the fire, two caravans have suffered total damage and three more have extensive damage.
"We are now appealing for witnesses who may have captured footage not yet viewed, or may have information about the incident to come forward.
